DJ Krush is from Japan and he loves hip-hop. He's made many recordings, some original material and some are DJ mixes as is this one. This is my favorite.

The material he's mixed here is beat-driven, edgy and original, and it is all mixed together seamlessly.

The material starts out on the out-there side, gets a bit more mainstream towards the middle of the set, and then veers back into the weirder stuff. I like the out-there stuff, so that's ok.

Hip-hop has many flavors. I don't care much for some of them. This is not typical hip-hop, and I'd be remiss if I represented it as such. But it's really interesting music, anyone would have to admit that!
